Dr Lacey completed her medical training with Honours from the University of Sydney. She spent two years working in anaesthetics in London before completing her specialist training here in Melbourne. Since then, she has completed further post-graduate education including the Diploma of Perioperative Echocardiograph through University of Melbourne.
She currently works at different public and private hospitals across Melbourne. She attends educational and quality assurance meetings regularly and is actively involved in teaching and research. Since 2010, she has been the HMO supervisor at St Vincent's Hospital.
Dr Lacey anaesthetises for a wide range of procedures including cardiac, neurosurgery, plastics, urology, major trauma, paediatrics, dental/maxillofacial, general surgery, orthopaedics and eye surgery. She is a member of the Australian Society of Anaesthetists and the Australian Medical Association and is actively involved in continuing professional development.
